The underlying rail#
FAST supports immediate payment instructions through participating financial institutions around the clock. Yuva’s intended model routes settlement through an appropriate participating provider.
The MVP boundary#
The local FAST-like adapter uses fictional route references and finalized demo receipts. Its timing and amount validation are prototype behavior, not live rail limits or a service-level commitment.
Provider responsibilities#
A production adapter must establish eligible routes, current limits, fees, status mapping, reconciliation and failure behavior. Cancellation cannot be assumed after settlement.
