Before funding#
| Stored state | Meaning |

| pending_acceptance | The borrower has not accepted identical terms. |
| accepted | Both approvals exist; principal has not settled. |
| funding | The authorized funding instruction is processing. |
| funding_failed | The funding provider failed without a finalized receipt. |
| cancelled | An unfunded proposal was cancelled. |
After funding#
| Derived state | Meaning |
|---|---|
| active / due_soon | Funded principal remains outstanding. |
| partially_repaid | Finalized repayments reduced but did not clear principal. |
| extended | An approved extension applies to the remaining schedule. |
| overdue | An unpaid installment has passed its due date. |
| disputed | A funded record has an open dispute. |
| completed | Matching repayments cleared the principal. |
State is derived#
Receipt-backed balances and approved schedules determine the funded lifecycle. Completion is not an editable label. Dispute, lateness and extension history remain auditable even when one status is currently displayed.
